And Jesus came and said to them, “All
authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go
therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in
the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And
behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew
28: 18-20
The Bible is quite clear in teaching that Christians are to
make disciples of all nations. God desires a maximum commitment
from us for the advancement of His truth around the world.
At the present time the missionaries we support with our
prayers and financial giving are serving the Lord through
evangelism and church planting, Bible translation, health and
community services, technical assistance, and youth ministry.
Our desire at Bethel Community Church is to create and
maintain an interest in missions through education and
information; to build a personal caring relationship with our
missionaries; and to encourage a commitment to missions and our
missionaries through communication, prayer, financial support,
and individual service abroad.
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon
you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea
and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. Acts 1:8 |
